Sail Melbourne 2016 is proud to announce its new partner, Line 7, as the official clothing partner of the event. Line 7 is thrilled to be outfitting all volunteers, officials and staff of the event with their lifestyle clothing brands. In addition, Line 7 will also be providing competitor caps to all invited class sailors.
Line 7 has been protecting sailors from harsh sailing conditions since 1963 with their high quality and high performance apparel. Line 7 has been prominent at various America’s Cup events, ‘Round the World’ Yacht Races, Olympic Games and now we are proud to announce their involvement at the 2016 Sailing World Cup – Melbourne. The Line 7 story started in 1963 with a range of wet-weather wear for sailors. New Zealand’s high rainfall and harsh conditions proved the perfect testing ground – and Line 7’s reputation for outstanding clothing was born. Upon the brands return to the market place they have announced a refreshed and modernised new range of merchandise. Mark Turnbull – Event Director “Line 7 is an exciting addition to our list of sponsors. We are very pleased to welcome a brand as outstanding as Line 7 to the fold. The iconic Line 7 label along with their modernised new clothing range will be on display within the St Kilda Precinct with their own retail store. We thank them for their support and look forward to working alongside the Line 7 team”
